Hey Friends and Prayer Warriors of NGIM,

Here are some praises and prayer request from all of us at NGIM in our larger vision of better equipping the body of Christ in the coming days:

Praises: We at NGIM are making great progress in getting Norm Geisler and Ron Rhodes book, Conviction Without Compromise, back into print. The book should be out by the end of this year!

Praises: The second edition of my father’s book with Frank Turek, I Don’t Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist, will be out in 2026 and this version will be even better than the first edition!

Praises: More people are finding on our ngim.org website under “all resources” many free resources that will help to equip the body of Christ.

Praise God for all those pastors in Japan that we got to teach our new witnessing model to that could help them better reach more Japanese youth!

Praise: We continual are making progress with our short version of the movie, Norm Geisler: Not Qualified. Pray that we find the right Liberty Cinematic Art students to help us develop this short version in the Fall.

Pray specifically for our NGIM ministry partners Dr. Don Deal and Dr. Brian Henson and myself as we work to finish our book, Practical Apologetics. Our hope is that it will be published in 2026. It will be used as a textbook for bible colleges and seminaries.

Pray also we can help get out in print in 2025 the revised version of 12 Points That Show Christianity Is True.

Pray for the follow-up training that we want to do with those who learned our Japan witnessing model in Japan three months ago. Pray specifically for Pastor Paul and our NGIM team as we continue to work on developing a witnessing model for Japanese Christians to reach Japanese youth!

Pray that we can formulate a good marketing plan for advertising this important book, Conviction Without Compromise, authored by Norm Geisler and Ron Rhodes. Our publisher is Morgan James and this will be a second edition. With so much information being distorted on social media, Christians need a source they can trust even more!

Pray also that we at NGIM can formulate a great marketing plan to get more of our resources connected with our movie, Norm Geisler: Not Qualified, into the hands of more Christians around the globe!

Pray also for my three other staff, Raymond Kwan, Director in Singapore, Brian Henson, Director of Youth Apologetics, and Don Deal, Director of Classical Apologetics training. Pray for spiritual protection and greater open doors for ministry for all our staff.

Pray for Don Deal, Brian Henson, and myself (David) as we seek to finish our draft of our new book coming out next year called Practical Apologetics: Building Stronger Roots and Better Bridges. Our audience will be bible college and seminary students but could be a helpful source for many lay Christians.

Pray for a better marketing plan to make more bible colleges and seminaries in Indonesia aware of our free pdf translation of Conversational Evangelism into Basha Indonesian. Last year we received from our publisher of Conversational Evangelism, Harvest House, the rights to the Indonesian rights to Conversational Evangelism that we plan to make available for anyone to download and use from our website. We also received permission from the Indonesian publisher to make their translation available as a pdf. FYI, Christians in closed Muslim countries are sometimes very reluctant to share their faith for fear of being thrown in prison. I’ve been told by many in Indonesia, that our C.E. book is very helpful to teach Christians how to witness effectively to Muslims without getting themselves thrown in prison.

Pray for renewed partnership with the four seminaries we used to teach at in Singapore (Trinity Theological College, Theological College of Asia, East Asia School of Theology, and Singapore Bible College). Pray that we can reconnect with some of my former students (From 2004-2011 we taught 300 students our Practical Apologetic Curriculum). Some of our pastors and missionaries are teaching all over Asia.

Pray for the discipleship relationships that we have with many different people around the globe (students, college workers, pastors, missionaries, seminaries). Pray that they will come to the conclusion that discipleship needs to fundamental not supplemental. Pray also they glean from us and teach in their circles the art of “A Certain Kind of Evangelism, Apologetics, and Discipleship.”

Pray also for more partnerships with strategic CHURCHES around the country to use our resources to equip the body of Christ.

Pray for wisdom as we seek to be a conduit here in the Lynchburg area for churches to target discipling of Liberty Univ. students to collectively play a role in raising up the next generation of Christian leaders.

Pray that God would give us greater understanding as to how best to make more churches around the globe more aware of the free resources we offer (study guide, leader guide) with the movie and other free resources to better equip the body of Christ.

Pray for wisdom as Keri Mankos and I (David) work on developing a second level study guide, building on the knowledge of the first, that teaches Christians important simple truths about faith, reason, apologetics, evangelism, as well as good philosophy and a sensitivity to the work of the Holy Spirit. Continue to pray for wisdom to communicate these important truths in a simple way that many in the church will understand and embrace and teach in their churches!

Please pray for Keri Mankos and her family as well as me (David) and my family as both families are facing much spiritual warfare in building these important resource that we pair with the movie.

Please pray for lives to be changed who listen to our monthly radio program, Good Morning Ozarks with Keith and Charley. Pray that lives will be changed as more and more Christians, who listen to the program, build stronger foundations for their faith and develop greater insights in reaching those in their circle of influence.

Pray that God would open doors to do the same kind of radio program with other Christian radio stations all across the country.

Please pray that many Christians around the globe will take the time to use all of our  new resources that we have recently added to our two web-sites to help build  up the body of Christ across the globe  (www.ngim.org and www.normgeislerthemovie.com )
