Andy is a graduate of Southern Evangelical Seminary from which he earned both his master’s and doctoral degrees in Christian Apologetics. He has taught in a variety of settings including as instructor of apologetics and philosophy at Crossroads Bible College, and as the Christian Education Pastor at Fellowship Bible Church. Currently, he works in campus ministry as a missionary evangelist/apologist with Ratio Christi (Reason of Christ) where he serves as the Chapter Director at Purdue University, and as a Chapter Formation Coach. He also teaches courses on Christian Apologetics and Logic at Great Commission Academy and Cornerstone Academy. Andy is a certified teacher for both Norman Geisler International Ministries (NGIM) and Anchorsaway Ministry. He speaks in churches, conferences, and workshops. Andrew is the author of H.E.A.R.T. of Spiritual Conversations, a tactical manual to help Christians improve in the art of spiritual dialogue.

What is the Conversational Evangelism Trainer Certification?
Individuals who have received this certification from NGIM have demonstrated a strong understanding of the concepts and applications of Conversational Evangelism, based on what they learned in David and Norm Geisler’s book, Conversational Evangelism, as well as what they learned from taking the “Conversational Evangelism” class and/or what they have learned as a student in Dr. David Geisler’s seminary class “Practical Apologetics”. They show a strong familiarity with all concepts in the CE model and regularly apply the principles to their day-to-day lives. They also show a posture of humility and a bent for serving God.
NGIM uses mixed methods such quizzing, coaching, and interviewing to vet these individuals, and we follow up with them several times a year to ensure they continue to understand and apply these principles in their witnessing and relationships.
